Well look at that! Valentine’s Day 2013 is here–and I’m not referring to the classic star-studded film directed by that old guy, Garry Marshall! Why, Valentine’s Day the most romantic day of the year! Everyone knows that Valentine’s Day “is a festival of romantic love and many people give cards, letters, flowers or presents to their spouse or partner. They may also arrange a romantic meal in a restaurant or night in a hotel. Common symbols of Valentine’s Day are hearts, red roses and Cupid.” –timeanddate.com

Now here’s something you may not know: Valentine’s Day isn’t just for couples (pause for dramatic effect…); everybody is allowed to have a Valentine (cheer and applaud)! Hear that, folks?!? Cancel your Thursday night plans to stay home and mope, because we’ve put together a comprehensive list of Valentine’s Day parties from all of your favorite bars around town. It’s for couples, singles, doubles, vegans, everyone!
P.S. Richmond Virginia… will you be my Valentine? <3
