Sticky Rice’s Sushi in Space (Extended)

by | Jan 10, 2012 | POLITICS

Sticky Rice has sent a sushi roll into space… more specifically they sent their popular Godzirra Roll. In collaboration with RVA TV and Bark Marketing, they launched their sushi plate on January 1st of this year and retrieved the craft in the woods of Central VA hours later. Six months of planning went into this project as a lot of variables were at play: -60F in space, atmospheric pressure on electronics, overheated or freezing batteries, GPS issues, stabilization, and how to make the sushi stay together. The team are hoping for national attention and plan to make a shorter commercial for air play.
