The “Last Friday Art Show” takes place every last Friday of the month at West Coast Kix in Carytown. This is an unique opportunity for local artist to display their work in-store for a month, leading up to the next show. The first show of the year featured art by RVA illustrator Kevin Solley and music by RVA’s own Nin3ndo.

Kevin’s winning ad

Kevin is the winner of last month’s West Coast Kix/RVAMag ad design contest. He recently moved back to RVA from New York to focus on the start of his shirt design company. You can view Kevin’s winning ad design along with his other illustrations in the store all month.


DJ Yen and DJ Rent of Nint3ndo

Nint3ndo is one of RVA’s fastest growing DJ groups. They are coming off a monster 2011 and looking to push the envelope even further this year. DJ Rent and DJ Yen, 2/3 of the group, were in store laying it down last Friday – check out all the photos below.
