Lindsey Copeland’s feature film, Girls Night, was shown last month at Richmond’s Byrd Theatre as part of the Richmond International Film Festival. Its themes relating to female friendship and the changes in people’s lives that occur as they grow older had an obvious appeal for the college-aged women of RVA.

Who you gonna call when a specter invades your Scotts Addition apartment? Richmond’s own GHOSTBUSTERS!
There’s a beautiful sunset over the Richmond skyline. A police radio dispatch fades up around the purple evening sky and informs patrol officers of a 415, an “unusual disturbance.”
That’s when the portly, endearing, and very serious Matt Adams chimes in. “I GOT THIS,” he scowls. And thus begins our first episode of Ghostbusters: Richmond Division, a wacky, spooky, local, and homemade tribute series to America’s favorite fighters of the undead.
