We’re beyond excited for this. Fans of Drew Bolduc (The Taint) will be particularly excited to catch up with the directors latest project. Here’s a bit more about Saturdays event via the showing’s Facebook Page:

You are cordially invited to bring in the New Year with a showing of Richmond’s very own independent sci-fi/horror feature-length flick, Science Team. Come to the historic Byrd Theatre to experience this mind-altering journey of scientific proportions alongside the movie’s cast and crew.

Filmed in Richmond, VA with the help of many talented local filmmakers and filmmakers from around the world, Science Team represents a landmark achievement in independent cinema that pushes micro-budget filmmaking to heights never before reached.

ABOUT THE FILM:
Chip returns home to find his mother brutally murdered and a sessile space alien living in her house rent free. A somewhat xenophobic and bureaucratic government agency called Science Team is called in to eliminate the extraterrestrial threat. Drama ensues. People die. Inner and extraterrestrial demons are engaged. Men in pink suits use cool-looking technology. Events culminate in a destructive orgy of violence as people’s minds are literally blown out of their heads.

NEWS:
Come by Portrait House (across the street from The Byrd) after the screening for drinks with the cast and crew!

And of course, the Science Team After Party
