Chill Winston – Fugitive 9 Ft. Skweeky Watahfawlz

by | Aug 12, 2015

Wednesday morning. We’re about halfway there.

Wednesday morning. We’re about halfway there. And summer aint over, so why not take a moment and enjoy this video by the folks at Gritty City Records as they spend a wholesome day at the river.

Or get buck wild – whatever, check out this new track from Chill Winston with some help from Skweeky Watahfawlz. All the trashy dudes from Gritty City – Johnny Ciggs, Fan Ran, Pandemic, Delta Automatik, Skweeky Watahfawls, Sirus The Virus, and probably a few morse since we last spoke) have been doing their best to let folks know how (some of us? many of us?) do things in RVA.

Looks like they also got some help from a UK producer on the track, Sik Sense – we don’t have many details on him, but his soundcloud paints him as a MC and beat maker. If this is the kind stuff he ends up producing then I’m excited to hear more.

And as for more from Fugitive 9? This appears to be the first single off his “long-overdue sophomore LP “VISION ALPHA,” which, according to Gritty City, is “sure to get stuck in your head like an RFID chip.”

We’ll be sure to let you know how that turns out.

Either way, it’s only Wednesday, so we could all use a little time at the river.
