Mass feat. Fam-Lay & Drama J, “Transitions”

by | May 10, 2013

This video comes from an emcee out of the 757 who goes by Mass. He also brings in well-known VA Beach emcee Fam-Lay of The Neptunes’ Star Trak Entertainment to drop a verse. I respect the fact that Mass took the step to reach out to a fellow artist from his area to drop a few bars on this track.

This song is talking about the transitions that are part of coming up from the streets and making a change for the better. I particularly love the camera work on the video, which comes from Illusive Media, a production company out of the same area. Even though these artists are from Tidewater, you’ll see some nice shots of the RVA area in the video as well. Mass has been getting a lot of notice around RVA from doing shows at different locations, including Strange Matter. I also featured him last year when he was a featured emcee in the video for fellow Tidewater artist and friend Handles’ track “Tape Rock.” Like his website says, Mass is makin’ moves.
