The Trillions, “I.C.C.B.”

The Trillions laid some #tbt love on #rva yesterday with a brand new video for “I.C.C.B.”, one of the standout tracks from their 2012 LP, Tritones. Shot two summers ago at the Canal Walk, in front of some excellent RVA Street Art Festival murals, this video documents a whole bunch of people having a blast. The River City Rollergirls and all kinds of other fun people dance around as Trillions drummer Joe Ferguson does his best impression of a workout-video leader and singer/guitarist Charlie Glenn displays his inimitable Marc-Bolan-as-Archie-Comics-character stage moves. Why we didn’t see this clip two years ago is a complete mystery, but better late than never, right? By the way, apparently this whole thing–which was shot by Sarah Walor and BJ Robinette, then turned into an actual music video by Charlie Glenn and Brandon Crowe–came together as a result of the Virginia Tourism Corporation. Who knew?

The Trillions are currently putting the finishing touches on their forthcoming full-length followup to Tritones–and as you can see above, Charlie’s got the moves even in the studio. Until it’s out (and even after it’s out, if you still don’t have it by then), you can pick up a copy of Tritones for yourself over at iTunes. You’ll be able to catch them live twice this month–at the Hardywood Good Day In RVA Festival on Saturday, May 17 (more info here), and at The Camel for RVA Playlist’s fourth birthday party on Wednesday, May 28 (more info here). Keep up with all the latest Trillions news at their website: thetrillionsband.com. And look out for that new album–coming soon!
