While we wile away the days waiting to see Shaka Smart’s final announcement on whether he’s staying Richmond or going to a university with their own cable network, Richmonders are doing all we can to tell him we’d like him to stay.

While we wile away the days waiting to see Shaka Smart’s final announcement on whether he’s staying Richmond or going to a university with their own cable network, Richmonders are doing all we can to tell him we’d like him to stay.

News on the potential deal has swirled on twitter under the hashtag #ShakaWatch, while over the past few days leaders in the VCU fan community have circulated pictures under the hashtag #LoveForCoachSmart. In #LoveForCoachSmart, students, faculty and fans have posted reasons the VCU community loves him.

Buz and Ned’s Real Barbecue offered Shaka Smart unlimited Brisket and Apple Fritters in an attempt to stem the tide of the negotiations.

From the afore mentioned offer, RVA’s stiffest deal has erupted.

Both Pure Pleasure and Club Rouge, two of Richmond’s finest gazongas and booty-things clubs and outstanding members of the community, have made #ShakaWatch into #ShakaCrotch.

The two clubs have made a hard bargain by offering Coach Smart and his staff unlimited free lap dances if he stays in Richmond.

This firm arrangement could really turn the tides of the talks. I know that we will be eagerly awaiting the rigid change in position that this causes.
