Libraries (the physical place where books are held) are still working hard to stay relevant, but one things for sure, they are full of old books, movies, books on tape(!), CDs and lots of other stuff which still has value to people.
And the Richmond Public Library is no exception. So this weekend the RPL are unloading some of that awesome stuff for ridiculously low prices.
Over $25K is raised annually by the Friends of the Richmond Public Library through these biannual book sale events, with proceeds going to summer reading, early literacy programs, and library renovations.
The Friends of the RPL are a volunteer group which aims to support and sustain our local city Library, and these book sales are a great way to score some sweet stuff and support a great cause.
