Prepare yourself to see what goes on in the mind of Lamb of God’s Randy Blynthe.

Prepare yourself to see what goes on in the mind of Lamb of God’s Randy Blynthe. The Richmond band just released a music video for “512,” the second track off their seventh upcoming album VII: Sturm Und Drang, and fair warning its heavy, as it should be because these local favorites always deliver.

A group of kids find a dead girl’s body in the woods, Blythe chants “my hands are painted red,” and if that doesn’t have you hooked there’s a murder scene at the end so I’ll leave you with that.

According to Loudwire, 512 represents the prison cell number Blythe was in following his Czech Republic arrest in 2012. The new record has a few other songs that tell the story of the frontman’s time in prison after a fan died at one of the band’s shows.

Check out RVA’s coverage of Lamb of God’s first single off the new album “Still Echoes,” released last month. The new album is scheduled to be released July 24 through Epic Records.
