Rapper Talib Kweli set for live date at the Broadberry in September

Brooklyn based rapper Talib Kweli is coming to Richmond next month and we’re freaking pumped.


Brooklyn based rapper Talib Kweli is coming to Richmond next month and we’re freaking pumped.

Fresh off the release of his newest mix tape, Fuck the Money (check it out below), Kweli’s unique mix of hiphop and song craft will be a show to remember.

Kweli is known for his strong political leanings, especially when dealing with race and police brutality. He’s been particularly vocal on the recent issues around police brutality.

Check out an interview with Kweli from CNN shortly after the shooting of Michael Brown in Ferguson, MI:
