Jesus Christ… MC Chicken is back with a new song/video

He’s back, and I’m writing the post this time (BK here).

He’s back, and I’m writing the post this time (BK here).

The amazing Amy David was much nicer/more traditional last time when MC Chicken dropped the subtle mess that was “You Got MC Chicken Fucked Up.”

But I’m back at the helm and I’m reverting to my original feelings on MC Chicken

What the hell is this and why do you people love it so much. Over 2,500 of you liked the original story/post on facebook, so I’m kind of forced to follow up. But that doesn’t mean I have to like it.

Either way, for your kind consideration, here’s the new video for TURNT TURLES. Notice the psychedelic kaleidoscope and the familiar chicken squawks we’ve all come to love/hate/have haunt our dreams:

“He had to steal some kidneys, take a trip to Greece, and freshly hand squeeze some butter out of a baby cow. BUT HE’S BACK BABY!” read’s the video’s youtube description. I know you were all dying to hear details of the intrepid MC, though I am thoroughly enjoying the image of his goofy, bearded gaze greeting war-torn refugees as they crash onto Grecian shores.

“I think it’s my best so far. What do y’all think?,” wrote MC Chicken in an email along side the video link.

Honestly, I think he’s jumped the shark and the first track was a success because it’s inevitably relatable. We’ve all ended up at the river in a drunken haze (and if you haven’t, you should). It’s kind of a slam dunk – mix river-drunk with PBR and you’re set for some good ol’ fashioned RVA-virility.

But I’m 30 and not into hip hop, so you kids enjoy and get off my lawn.
