It’s been a rocky 30+ years for the British extreme metal icons, with about 10 years united, another 12 years on hiatus, and a return to the stage in 2007 with a new drummer. They’re touring in support of 2013’s Surgical Steel, which Decibel not only praised, they honored it among the band’s vast back catalog. “Surgical Steel isn’t just an unfeigned return to form; it’s a verifiably vicious one,” they wrote.

Check out the video for “Unfit For Human Consumption,” one of the tracks of Surgical Steel, below:

As good as the new tracks are, we’re still pretty big fans of 1991’s Necroticism Descanting The Insalubrious which offers destructive riffs as well as a number of economical ways to dispose of a dead body.

The One Foot In The Grave 2016 headlining tour is Set to commence on July 16th and level nearly two dozen stages through August 6th, the journey includes performances at Chicago Open Air Festival as well as Heavy MTL. Support will be provided by Crowbar (no stranger to RVA stages), Ghoul, and Night Demon.

CARCASS takes the Broadberry stage on August 2nd, you can snag tickets here!
