RVA’s Camp Howard premiere new single ‘Juice’, album to drop 5/12

by | Apr 11, 2017 | ROCK & INDIE

Richmond indie rock outfit Camp Howard has been steadily putting out good music since they released their self-titled debut album last year in March. Apparently they’ve been toiling away in the studio because they just released a new track, and a new album is set to follow via Egghunt Records next month.

The guys just premiered a sneak peek of what’s to come with their groovy, laid back new track “Juice” on Consequence of Sound on Monday.

Bassist Wes Parker told the music news site that the song is a tribute to his childhood home. You can check out what he had to say about it here.

It’s a fun vibe and I like what I’m hearing all ready. I need to hear more so hopefully they release a few more teasers ahead of the album drop May 12.

Catch Camp Howard April 20 at The Broadberry and on May 13 at Strange Matter for their release party featuring Lance Bangs, Recluse Raccoon, and Hill Walkers.

The band also just recorded a live music video for their song “Mismo” with local film collective RVATRACK, which you can check out below. And read our interview with RVATRACK here!

Fourth of July 2026 in Richmond: Fireworks, Festivals, and More

The best Fourth of July celebration in Richmond probably isn't the one with the biggest fireworks. It's the one where someone forgot the hot dog buns, the cooler is running low on ice, kids are chasing each other through sprinklers, and somebody insists they know a...
