This Saturday, June 8, you’re in for a quirky twist on your morning jaunt around Richmond. Prepare to encounter some wildly creative, fungus-fueled art installations as the ‘Game of Shrooms‘ returns to sprinkle its spores around the globe—and right here in River City.
Launched in 2019, Game of Shrooms is not your typical scavenger hunt. Hundreds of artists worldwide get crafty with mushroom-inspired pieces, secreting them around their neighborhoods for locals to discover.
The treasure hunt kicks off just past the witching hour Saturday. To get in on the action, follow the local artists on social media for cryptic clues and updates about where they’ve hidden their masterpieces. Check the online map HERE!
Finders, keepers? Absolutely! If you snag a piece, let the creator know with a tag or a DM—digital cheers for their artistry.
