St. Benedict Oktoberfest

St. Benedict’s Catholic Church will be holding its 13th annual Oktoberfest from Friday, September 15th to Sunday September 17th.

Come enjoy keg tapping ceremonies, chicken dances and performances by several German bands and dancers.

There will be Kid’s Zones that will be open till 8pm.

The times are:

Friday 4 – 11pm
Saturday 11am – 11pm
Sunday 12 – 6pm

It’s FREE to get in.

Over 50 beers on tap!

Drinks being six tickets for a beer and a glass of wine and 20 tickets for a bottle of wine.

 

Food will feature German specialties such as:

Wurst platter: Bratwurst, Knockwurst, Weisswurst, Sauerkraut, German Potato Salad, Roll (12 Tickets)

Kids meals: Kinderdog (Beef Hot Dog), Juice pack, and a container of Apple Sauce served in a plastic Alpine hat(6 Tickets)

and Authentic German Desserts such as Black Forest Cake and German Chocolate Cake(4 Tickets each)

 

Tickets are $1 a piece.

Malik Hall is a RVA native and received his Bachelors of Psychology from Virginia Commonwealth University with a Minor in Media Studies. Writing wasn't big on his radar until he took a science journalism class in college and since then he found it as a perfect outlet for himself. Skateboarding is his favorite hobby outside of his new found love for writing.
