The Valentine to offer free admission to 19 RVA historic sites with ‘Time Travelers Passport’ this weekend

Step back in time this weekend-for free-to check out 19 of Richmond’s greatest historical sites courtesy of The Valentine.

In partnership with the museum, many of the area’s museums, schools, and other historic sites are offering free admission to visitors who show their Time Travelers Passport, which you can download here. (You can also show the passport on your mobile device.)

The following oganizations will be offering free admission:

The Branch House
Chimborazo Medical Museum
Clarke-Palmore House
Courtney Road Service Station
Dabbs House Museum
Deep Run Historic School
The John Marshall House
Maggie L. Walker National Historic Site
Maymont
Magnolia Grange
Chesterfield County Museum and 1892 Historic Jail
Meadow Farm Museum at Crump Park
The Edgar Allan Poe Museum
The Valentine First Freedom Center
Virginia Randolph Museum
Walkerton Tavern
White House of the Confederacy (American Civil War Museum)
The Valentine & 1812 Wickham House
Wilton House Museum

The participating organizations are also offering a grand prize drawing. Anyone that visits any of the sites will be entered to win. The more sites someone visits, the better the chances of winning. The prize is a collection of featured items from each of the participating sites’ gift shops.

The Time Travelers Passport will only be granted for Saturday, March 11 and Sunday, March 12.
