Woodland Heights Art Walk: A New Tradition of Art and Community

by | Dec 5, 2024 | ART, COMMUNITY, DESIGN & ILLUSTRATION, PAINTING & SCULPTURE

Richmond’s Woodland Heights neighborhood is kicking off a brand-new tradition this Friday, December 6th, with the Woodland Heights Art Walk, an open house event that promises to bring the community together through creativity and connection. Running from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM, the walk features an array of local artists showcasing their talents in a unique, accessible format.

This year, the Woodland Heights Art Walk was created with two goals in mind: to provide a safe and enjoyable way for people to experience art and to celebrate the thriving creative community within the neighborhood. According to Mark Campbell, one of the event organizers, “We feel that a safe way to see many local artists without having to be in a confined space for too long may be a good idea.
