In 2018, Marc Rebillet showed up at The Camel in Richmond, a 200-cap room with sticky floors and a knack for producing nights that linger longer than they should. He wore robes then silky, gaudy, ceremonial things and improvised entire sets out of loops that seemed...
No matter the tastes of music lovers in this city, there is something for everyone this week. An overwhelming amount of pop music will be passing through (and additionally is on my mind as I will talk about later), so I'll be bringing you the information on my favorite pop acts and music that are in town this this week culminating in Nashville...
As everyone gets back to the grind, the musicians are on it too playing shows all over town and pumping out new tunes for the public's awaiting ears. Those around me continue to insist that it is Fall, with their pumpkin spices and their "spooky season" vibes, but I for one am not a person who rushes transitions. Avail, delivering a...
It’s the early '90s. If you could push your way through the flannel and step over the many Doc Martens in the way, you’d find another musical movement. In embarking on any endeavor to decide who is the best, those engaged in the activity must recognize, and by extension acknowledge, that it is futile.
