In this week’s batch of Missed Connections it seems to be an abundance of local working ladies getting hit on by the easily enamored/sleezy man. It gets weird.

In this week’s batch of Missed Connections it seems to be an abundance of local working ladies getting hit on by the easily enamored/sleezy man. It gets weird. But hey maybe one of you guys might actually find that lost connection.

i see u at work and think u are so hot – m4w (Mechanicsville)

we work at the same place in Mechanicsville, I think you are so hot, we catch each other staring at the other sometimes and we smile. Would really like to get to know you more but I am really shy plus I am older than you and don’t know how you feel about being with someone who is older than you

we work together – m4w (Richmond)

so I am sure you dont read these, actually I hope you dont, and I never post here but I need to get something off my chest and I cant say anything at work for a couple reasons. You are simply gorgeous, absolutely sexy and stunning WOW…. everything about you is just so alluring and inviting to me. I so badly want to call you into my office, shut and lock the door and have you over my desk while I feel you climax for me over and over again. I want us to be our little secret in the office. But you dont know I feel this way, and I cannot say anything… you are a fair amount younger than me and single… well at least I think you are. And I would love for you to come into my office after reading this, shut the door and just come after me with every bit of sexual energy you have. The way you dress, I cannot stop looking at you.. WOW… just WOW…. so if you think this is you, tell me a bit about yourself and tell me a bit about me and lets see if this actually crosses your path.

Kroger – m4m (Atlee Road)

Long shot I know – you helped me and spoke with me twice this past weekend. Seemed to be more of a connection than just you doing your job. Interested in talking some more. Let me know what it was we discussed

We had a threesome at a mutual friend’s house and I’d love to meet up with you again. I had a great time and would like to explore a little bit more with you. Respond back to me and let’s play some more.

To the Shmuck Who Tried to steal a kiss -Greyhound Norfolk! – w4m (Richmond>Norfolk>VA Beach)

Okay, so the title should automatically tell you if its you, I noticed you after I got my ticket in Richmond. You made it perfectly clear you were interested with your constant eye contact. (But said nothing)Then we boarded the bus and you sat a few rows ahead of me. When we finally got off in Norfolk, you did it again holding eye contact, walking straight for me like you wanted to say something. But kept walking. Finally when it was time for me to board to VABeach, I’m not sure why you went outside (Maybe looking for me)… But, when you came back in you tried to steal a kiss from me but, I turned my head. Flattered , Embarrassed, Confused ….best to describe it … You had people asking me where did my boy friend go … (Smh) and then when i replied with ” I don’t even know him” the looks and stares…
I don’t know where you went … But if you see this reply with the color of the hat , shirt and pants you were wearing…. And the color of my traveling shoes or bag (hint: they match, their bright and stand out).
I’m posting this because I was obviously into you… Why didn’t you just start a conversation and ask for my number? Instead of pulling a stunt like that I don’t care how ballsy and impressive it was … You should’ve left your number so could curse you out about personal space and asked you to dinner. (Lol)

Girl working at Strawberry St Market – m4w (Strawberry)

I came in twice over this weekend while you were working and made a comment the second time about how embarrassing that everytime you are working I either buy Ice cream or toilet paper, and you at least made the joke that its natural. Just wanted to say thanks for not making me feel anymore awkward than I am and also you are pretty cute and if you see this then the next time I come in could be even more awkward if you don’t respond to possibly wanting to hangout sometime?

Photo | Ringside at RVA Wrestling’s Return to CarMax Park

This past Saturday RVA Wrestling returned to CarMax Park to bring a little something extra to a night out with the Richmond Flying Squirrels. Bodies flew, rivalries played out and the smack talk was flying as the crowd joined in on the chaos that makes Richmond’s...

Review | ‘Confederates’ Doesn’t Let Anyone Off Easy

“Oh, I’m going to have a field day with this.” These were my exact words to friend and artist Kyle Epps as I got up from my seat at Firehouse Theatre Saturday night. As we shuffled out of the theatre into the lobby, I took inventory of the stack of insights Dominique...

What Happened Before the Video?

There are two sides to every story, but a lot of the time, the first narrative is the one that sticks. Case in point: last week, an altercation broke out during one of the weekly neighborhood rides organized by the Broad Street Bullies. The ride has happened every...

Can Ellwood Thompson’s Survive Its Owners?

What is Ellwood Thompson’s now? That feels like a fair question most people should be asking right now after this week’s news that the company that owns one of Richmond’s most recognizable stores is being taken over by another company whose primary business is data...
