Del “Sideshow” Bob Marshall at it again with mess of insane bills ahead of 2016 General Assembly

There’s a place and time in this world for everyone, unfortunately for some Virginia legislators, that the place is right but the time is all wrong.

There’s a place and time in this world for everyone, unfortunately for some Virginia legislators, that the place is right but the time is all wrong.

Del. Bob Marshall is a classic case of this – if he were alive in the 60’s, he’d probably have been the most popular guy at the local lynching.

If you follow GayRVA much, you know he’s one of Virginia’s most vocal anti-LGBTQ legislators, with a history of more anti-gay legislation than any one person should have (thou doth protest too much!) – and he’s back with some more already this year.

But “Sideshow Bob” (as coined by the Washington Post), is just getting warmed up – he’s armed with a mess of unnecessary and time-wasting legislation that is sure to make you look back to the 60’s and be really really happy those times are gone.

First up, not 1, but two bills aiming to allow teachers and administrators to bring guns to schools or colleges.
