In Libra’s Light, Scorpio’s Depths | Justice Unveils Richmond’s Tarot Destiny

by | Oct 22, 2024 | COMMUNITY, CULTURE

Dear Richmond,

The veil continues to thin, and the mystery of life begins to transform our reality as the streets of Churchill are swarming with skeletons, and other ominous creatures reflecting the joy of Halloween!

As the sun settles in the harmonious sign of Libra, alluring Scorpio takes us by the hand- ushering us into the depths of the ocean on October 24th! This shadowy season brings forth our deepest desires, and for many, hidden truths.

At the heart of this weeks spread is the Justice Card, surrounded by the six of cups, and the Judgement Card.

With the Moon entering into charismatic and confident Leo, bright and sunny skies will lead the way into the weekend- energizing us just in time for some of the local festivities such as the Union Block Party, hosted by Union Market! Some of us may desire to take a bite of the forbidden fruit, as Scorpio’s seductive call is like the Siren of the Sea. And with pleasure in the air, the six of cups offers new opportunities for connection in friendship and romance. Don’t be afraid to let your guard down a little. You might be pleasantly surprised this weekend.

The moon slips briefly into the sign of Virgo on Sunday, Oct. 27th-28th, so we may feel called to rest and start to thinking about the business of the week. A Salty Pumpkin Shaken Espresso from Riverbend Cafe, and a walk through Libbie Hill Park just around the corner might be just what you need—especially since the moon will quickly shift into the balance of Libra on Tuesday, Oct. 29th through Thursday, Oct. 31st.

The Judgement and Justice card are both here to encourage us to practice discernment as we navigate the upcoming week. A lovely Italian cuisine at Lost Letter, or a few Halloween-themed cocktails at The Jasper will keep you in the spirit of celebration without exhausting your energy. And believe me, with the New Moon entering the passionate sign of Scorpio on Friday, Nov. 1st— the weekend is sure to be a wild ride!
