BOUNCE 029 JONQ “Radiator Mix”

Hailing from DC – deejay, beatboxer, and bedroom producer JONQ found his way to Richmond in 2004 to pursue studies at VCU after military school. Opening for such well known artists as N*E*R*D, Wale and The Beastie Boys, while collaborating with the band Earthtone and serving as the music coordinator of Richmond Fashion Week for Nightlife Promo’s INC and Primrose Productions, JONQ kept it busy. Over the summer, PLF DJ’s Reinhold and Mr. Jennings extended an invite for JONQ to guest DJ at Mayhem and has been focused on making mixes and throwing parties ever since.

His tastes could be described as broad ranging from dusty-funk classics to Cumbia to Dirty B’more to top 40. Be on the look-out for a collab mystery project mix with DJ Throwdown from D.C. coming in a few months and of course, more parties.
