In-Depth is a podcast from RVA Magazine focusing on unique and talented electronic music producers and DJs. In this podcast, we will hopefully introduce you to some new creative music. This week we catch up with our own Reinhold and his current installment of his very chill seasonal “Wintry mix”.

Reinhold’s Wintry Mix 3.0: YOU (1.5 hrs):

I collect beautiful tracks all year with the excitement of knowing when it snows I will start on my wintry mix. There is so much great music that does not get played out at parties, so these mixes give me a chance to share so of these tracks. I have had lots of people support me in making these Wintry mixes – so a big thank you for your support its one of the reasons I enjoy doing it so much.

The mix is a soundscape overall that makes me think of my loved ones – past and present, its truly for you. There are some really emotional ambient tracks that really move me, I can’t wait for you to hear. I hope they move you as well and you check out the producers music. I still have so much more that could go into another mix – so maybe another one is on the way before too long. Hopefully you will enjoy listening to this mix – its great for a fiery night, travels, yoga, or just casual listening.

I also want to highlight two unrealized tracks graciously made for this mix by local producers.

What Happened Before the Video?

There are two sides to every story, but a lot of the time, the first narrative is the one that sticks. Case in point: last week, an altercation broke out during one of the weekly neighborhood rides organized by the Broad Street Bullies. The ride has happened every...
