Myke Terry left Richmond a few years ago to sing for Boston metalcore band Bury Your Dead, but as with so many other Richmond creative types who’ve left the city over the years, he’s found himself back in town again, leading a brand new band. The Silent Age are a much more melodic group than anything Terry has previously done, with a guitar-driven sound that mixes emo and alternative rock. These guys are clearly headed for big things, but you can catch them now at the RVA Music Fest, where they will be playing on Stage One at the Main Event on Sunday, September 11.
