Best of RVA Missed Connections 10/3/17-10/10/17

by | Oct 10, 2017 | WTF?!

Just like last week, this batch of RVA Missed Connections does not disappoint and is full of curious souls looking for love or just a good time. Sparks fly at a Short Pump Irish pub and a local vet, the search for a long lost VCU flame continues,  there’s a flirty encounter at the State Fair, and sock fetish guy just won’t quit. Check out all that and more below.

tatted gal on Cap trail (Rva)

Thanks for the motivation at the end of my 10 miles. Sexy smile, toned legs with a hint of a naughty side.

If you see this, tell me who was walking with you this a.m. and where abouts on the trail we saw each other

Dwn town Y – m4m (Richmond)

This is a long shot. To the hot guy in the steam room late this afternoon, enjoyed our time alone but it was too hot to stay in there. Let’s get together aways from there. So I know it’s you tell me what you told me before leaving the steam room.

Cowboy’s Angel – m4w (Richmond and South)

I know you are thinking the same thing, but denying how you feel is eating you alive. It’s carnal hunger, way past supper time. Forget everything else. What was, deserves to know. It paid it’s dues. That pic in Nashville. Those shoes. I know you. You know me. Good and bad. Heaven and hell.

We met in an Irish Bar in West Broad Village – m4m

We sang karoke and really hit it off! There was something there. We were both from out of town and in town for business. We said our goodbyes at the red light. Tell me what you sang? I would really like to continue to communicate with you.

missed connection with snack cart volunteer at massey – w4m (VCU campus)

About 8:30am on Oct. 6th, I was drawing when you came over and introduced yourself. You mentioned you volunteered at the snack cart and asked me what I was drawing, I said bugs because of my children’s imagery class. I think you mentioned something about grasshoppers. You got me a cranberry juice and 2 packs of peanut butter crackers, then left.

Feeling lucky – m4w

feel so silly. So full of myself that I check this site weekly hoping someone will have seen me be interested and post about me. Truth is I’m lonely. I just want to be desired. Confidence down. Self esteem low. I just want a girl to keep me company.

if you went/go to vcu; this may be to someone you know – w4w (VCU)

We worked together at a part time job and I had the biggest crush on you. It was only a work crush though. We talked sometimes but only at work. I had your social media and you sent me a dm once. I replied but couldn’t keep the conversation going because I didn’t want to say the wrong thing. I don’t know I wouldn’t say I’m in love with you; because I never knew you outside of work but I do find myself randomly thinking of you. You have a quirky af smile and you listen to 90’s r&b. You graduated school shortly after we “met” and stopped working with me. I saw some of what was going your life on social media and it won’t matter much but I’m happy for you. I realized that we’re from totally different worlds and all the usual stuff that stops people from being together. I’m with someone who makes me really happy now. Still though I keep thinking of the times you made me feel like a little kid in school with a crush. All you had to do was look at me ? I’m much more confident now so I keep thinking about if we met now. Anyway I don’t know how life is now but I hope it’s good and I hope you get all you want in it. Idk this may all be irrelevant but at one point in my life, seeing you made me flustered and unable to focus. I remember my friends encouraging me to get your number and I kept saying “I’ll do it next week”, until you graduated and went on your trip and I knew I wouldn’t see you again. I got some pretty mixed signals from you but maybe you’re just flirty and I get that ’cause same. You’re in a place in your life that I’m very far from in mine, but idk maybe we can hang out sometime? Get to be actual friends. I won’t say much but it’d be cool if you got this don’t you think? So a few things about you: You graduated from VCU in May of this year(2018). I believe you went for forensic science. You’ve got a bomb af accent. Your first initial is R. You may or may not be in a relationship (hah, no disrepsect intended if you are), I believe you were when I “knew” you. You’re very energetic except when you’re kinda hungover. Oh and the smile, the smile is very important. (If you think you know this person it’d be pretty awesome if you led them my way.)

At the vet – m4w (Broad St.)

We were both waiting for our dogs in the lobby. Your hound started baying in the back room and you gasped and teared up a little. It was the sweetest thing. I bumbled out a few questions, but didn’t want to bother you. Then my old pug came wobbling out, one of the few dogs who actually enjoys going to the vet. I’ve thought about you since then, not because you are attractive (you are) but because your level of empathy was so palpable. You wear it like air, like it’s the simplest thing. Not many people are like that. Maybe I’m wrong, but I doubt it. I’m not sure this is a missed connection, as you probably have no interest in me. Think of it as a compliment, I guess. A shout-out into the ether of all that is good.

State Fair Ticket Booth – m4w (Kiddie land)

I met you at the ticket counter in the kiddie land Wednesday October 4th we talked about you being stuck inside that small box from start to finish. I came by and checked on you a couple of times. Wish I had asked your name. If you recall this by some slim chance I would love to catch up with you sometime if you are not already involved with someone. Who knows if you will ever see this but worth a shot. You had such a great smile. Here is to taking a chance.
