Best of RVA Missed Connections 11/29/16-12/6/16

by | Dec 6, 2016 | WTF?!

The holidays may be rapidly approaching, but sadly there’s no one in this week’s Missed Connections getting busy under the mistletoe or dressing up as Santa and Mrs. Claus. However we do have people bonding over a near car crash, a Chipotle crush, and an interaction involving a one “Lizard King” so if you know any of these souls looking for their lost fling do your part, if not, enjoy this week’s batch of missed connections.

Guy In Bakery At Martin’s – m4m (Charter Colony)

I was in the Martin’s on Midlothian Turnpike and Charter Colony on Mon Dec 5th at ten am . You helped me order a cake on the Ukrop’s computer stand. We both laughed at how we needed glasses. I thought you were very charming and very polite and quite handsome. You seem to be in your forties (as am I). I did not think much else of it until you walked away and i saw your tiny rainbow sticker on your cell phone case. I was going to approach you and talk but there were so many people around so i thought i would try here first. If you remember me and would like to talk and maybe go out on a date, please HMU and tell me what i looked like so i know its you.

Loved the brown dress – m4mw

Not sure if you will see this. I think you are a knockout with an incredible body. I really enjoyed chatting with you at the Santa party and have heard through the grapevine that you and your husband enjoy an alternative lifestyle. If you think this is you let me know.

You hugged me goodbye twice – m4w (Innsbrook)

Was it just forgetfulness on your part last night, or were you looking for a reason to get another hug? I sure was not complaining either way. I’ve always thought you may have had a little thing for me, and I have felt the same about you but obviously could not say anything, given the circumstances. Tell me what the occasion was if you think this is for you.

Asian chick seeking bald white man outside Chipotle – w4m (Midlothian)

I was getting out of my car as you were leaving the restaurant and walking to your car. We made eye contact and you smiled at me. You are a very handsome bald and tall white man with a fantastic smile. I was in workout clothes, had my hair in a messy bun and no makeup but you still made me think I was the most gorgeous woman in the world with how you looked at me. I had a little girl with me otherwise I would have said something. (Not sure what I would have said exactly but something). There was definitely something electric. This is most likely a long shot but you never know until you try.

Lizard king – w4m (Chesterfield)

As you know, there’s no off the ark dude and if there ever was ive never met him or been in that store. don’t even have a lizard anymore. Took a while to post a response to that. Maybe you connected something somehow- maybe some sort of imagination sparked a thought?. It was only ever you silly… out of all the postings, that one caught your eye huh? the WEIRD, random, meaningless one?

I accept that, but when you’re done being angry you should call or text me.
Now excuse me while I twirl my hair and go back to pretending like I have no clue what’s been going on, just as I always have.

I love you! No, not you. Not the random weird guy reading this, not the lizard king, not initials DK… no, really not those initials…

YOU! Yes, You with the smirk and furrow between your brows right now. I love youuuuuuu!!!!!!

P.S.- I don’t doubt the lizard king was an asshole, most lizards are assholes and are best when loved by other assholes to which they make the deepest of connections between the two. It was never a game to me..
