Best of RVA Missed Connections 8/15/17-8/22/17

by | Aug 22, 2017 | WTF?!

Foot fetishes, “muscle bears” at Pony Pasture, and some scorned lovers make up this week’s batch of RVA Missed Connections. Also a woman with a giant “coin” head-whatever that means. Read on below to see if you might fit the profile for some of these Craigslist hopefuls.

Rosa at Lowe’s – m4w (Richmond)

It’s always a pleasure seeing you.
Love your sexy voice and your sweet and flirty personality.
Wouldn’t it be nice to be laying out naked on that deserted island?

I hate you – w4m

Leave me alone. Bash me all day. Stay the fuck out of my life. You talk all this junk about me, but you forgot who was always a good person to you. Fuck you. Seriously. Leave me alone.

re: I hate you – m4w

I do not ‘bash” you. It is not difficult to ‘leave you alone’ when we haven’t spoke in six months. You vanished, without so much as a word.
Hate is a strong word. If so, we were never really in love. Just another statistic of a failed relationship.Come home, you never shut the door when you left and I never closed it behind you. Winter is approaching, I don’t want to be cold.

Trying to reconnect with my Asian FWB – m4w

I don’t want to give away too much information about her, but I believe she was from China. She spoke very little English and we actually met up as chat buddies on CL. She’s married, and I’m married, and we’d meet up maybe once a week or every other week. Then, after about three months, she completely quit responding. No more texts. No more emails. Nothing. She just popped into my head today, and it’d be nice to reconnect with her. When it comes to FWB, she got it. We were both married, and it worked. Hopefully she’ll see this.

woman with giant coin for a head – m4w

dear woman with a giant coin for a head:

sometimes i think about putting you in my pocket or into a vending machine. sometimes i think about sliding you across a convenience store counter to a cashier who suddenly makes eye contact and winks. once i dreamt your head was gigantic, a tremendous copper disc i was scaling like a mountain. the wind bit at my back, pushing me against your ochre face, but in spite of my fear i felt grateful and at peace.  also, I think you might look quite fetching in some kind of old-timey dress like Mary Todd Lincoln would wear. think about it.

Kellogg’s Man – m4m

Saw you this morning at the Petersburg Wal-Mart on the cereal aisle. You were tall, dark and good looking. I told you that I had just gotten off of work. Mr. Kellogg’s Man, you are one good looking man.

Girls with Nice Feet – m4w (RVA)

Sane, attractive, fit, white male that’s interested in attractive women’s feet. I have a foot fetish. Simple as that. I’ll pay you one hundred bucks to rub your feet in my face. Yes, this is missed connections. Yes, I know I’ll get angry replies telling me that and you’re going to flag me like crazy. Whatever. Please change the subject to something with the word “feet” and a coherent message and hopefully, we can work something out. Thanks!

M – you have an Oral Fetish – m4w (RVA)

We connected on here about 2 years ago and haven’t been able to stop thinking about meeting up with you. Hoping there is a chance you still look on here since it’s where we connected. You were looking for some oral relief and the thought of it makes my mouth water still. My phone broke and I lost your number, which has been pissing me off ever since. If your interested shoot me an email. Would love to reconnect. Your name starts with an M and I told you how sexy I thought it was. You told me it was anything but sexy. Hope I hear from you.

This past Saturday RVA Wrestling returned to CarMax Park to bring a little something extra to a night out with the Richmond Flying Squirrels. Bodies flew, rivalries played out and the smack talk was flying as the crowd joined in on the chaos that makes Richmond’s...

Review | ‘Confederates’ Doesn’t Let Anyone Off Easy

“Oh, I’m going to have a field day with this.” These were my exact words to friend and artist Kyle Epps as I got up from my seat at Firehouse Theatre Saturday night. As we shuffled out of the theatre into the lobby, I took inventory of the stack of insights Dominique...

What Happened Before the Video?

There are two sides to every story, but a lot of the time, the first narrative is the one that sticks. Case in point: last week, an altercation broke out during one of the weekly neighborhood rides organized by the Broad Street Bullies. The ride has happened every...

Can Ellwood Thompson’s Survive Its Owners?

What is Ellwood Thompson’s now? That feels like a fair question most people should be asking right now after this week’s news that the company that owns one of Richmond’s most recognizable stores is being taken over by another company whose primary business is data...
