Best of RVA Missed Connections 8/22/17-8/29/17

by | Aug 29, 2017 | WTF?!

In this week’s batch of RVA Missed Connections, instead of foot fetishes, we’ve got a sock fetish, along with sparks flying at Sonic and Kickback Jack’s, the search for a long lost lover, and an interesting exchange with a CVS pharmacist. Check it out below.

Chris LaRoche – m4m (RVA)

What happened to you? Did you go back to your wife? I miss you. Has anyone heard about Chris? What’s his story??

You go to Wawa about 1-2am in uniform. You’re about 35-40 , white 5’6′ thick and sexy. Seen you with a guy a few times but not lately. Hope you see this.

Fill my prescription Ric Ocasek – w4m (chesterfield)

So you work at the Chesterfield CVS pharmacy and I’ve seen you for years. You remind me of Ric Ocasek from the Cars, but only because you are tall and lanky and kinda rockstar. I just really want to hang out, eat twizzlers, listen to heavy metal, watch Japanese horror fantasy movies and maybe braid your hair. Yes, it sounds a little weird but I seriously think you are probably a little weird too and would like it. I imagine it’s hard to fill people’s prescriptions and look them in the face and not judge them though. I can’t ever reveal myself because then you would look me up by my prescriptions and think, hmmm. What’s up with her?

James Center Y – m4m (Richmond Downtown)

You work out during or before lunch. Suit type, tall, broad strong chest, 30s I think, and you carry your gear a small Nike draw string gym bag when you walk in. You look straight as an arrow but you also seem aware of what’s up. Discreet and curious by chance?

Kickback Jacks – m4w (Richmond)

Even tho I am attached you are a gorgeous woman I cannot get out of my head as you waited on us. Body looks amazing, tattoos, pretty smile, you have the whole package. I would love to have some private time with you and we can both make each other happy if you know what I mean. I ordered some wings, if this is you send a pic or tell me who I was with or what I was wearing.

to that slut coming out of Cabaniss in a white oxford UNbutton down – m4w (VCU)

I saw you walking down the street towards the bus stop, and my jaw dropped. Then you passed me, and I saw everything beneath your shirt… You were unbuttoned down to your waist, and it was the most gratifying, glorious sight I’ve seen since moving to Richmond. I could show you a good time in the parking deck, the next time you’re in between connecting campuses..

Lost in love. – m4w (RVA.)

I have tried to contact you again, but you didn’t respond. My heart aches. I fell for you almost the first time I saw you. We saw each other for alost 2 years at work, but you had to leave and left a large hole in my life. I hope you find your purpose and that you will find happiness. I’m just sad knowing that we could have been the best together.  I love you and miss you.

The Light That Never Went Out

There is a spotlight still mounted in the rafters of 528 N. 2nd Street. It has been there since 1914. It has outlasted segregation, fire, the highway that cut Jackson Ward in two, and decades of silence. On the nights when the Hippodrome Theater fills up, that light...

Fourth of July 2026 in Richmond: Fireworks, Festivals, and More

The best Fourth of July celebration in Richmond probably isn't the one with the biggest fireworks. It's the one where someone forgot the hot dog buns, the cooler is running low on ice, kids are chasing each other through sprinklers, and somebody insists they know a...
