Tapped: Triple Crossing’s Far From Dawn, Ardent’s Earl Grey Brown Ale, & Three Notch’d Brewing’s Fredd Finale

What’s happening craft beer lovers of RVA?! Welcome to this week’s “Tapped,” RVA Magazine’s go to weekly craft beer column where you can find all your craft beer-related events, releases, festivals and all the booze news your little hearts desire.

Our cup is overflowing with news this week, but first head over here to check out what awesome brews were released in Richmond last weekend.

So we’re just getting into the new year and the world seems to be getting crazier by the day, but one thing you can count on is RVA Mag will always have the scoop on where you can go to get the finest craft beer in town! This week we have new beer releases, events, and other cool happenings around town, so hold on to your mugs because we’re getting ready to tap this thing!

Is one of you New Years resolutions to get in shape? If so, head to Strangeways this Saturday for their boot camp class. The brewery is partnering with Fit By Benns for their first boot camp class of the year with a BLOWOUT DEAL of 2 for 1 admission! So, grab a friend and $10 (between the two of you) and go sweat it out before you drink some beer!

Triple Crossing will release Far From Dawn, an imperial stout with Cacao Nibs, Cinnamon and Vanilla at their new Fulton location on Saturday. The brew will be available in crowlers.

On Saturday, Ardent Craft Ales will release Earl Grey Brown Ale, an annual collaboration with Potter’s Cider and Champion Brewing Company. They will also have guest taps from Potter’s and Champion Brewing.

Chesterfield’s Steam Bell Beer Works’ IPA Series returns this Saturday. The brewery will be tapping Time Is Money IPA, Money is Power IPA, and Power Corrupts DIPA.

This Saturday, Midnight Brewery we will host Gracie’s Guardians from 1-4pm! The local pitbull advocacy group is accepting donations for outreach (food, toys, collars and specially leashes). They may have a foster dog here too. Come out and help a great cause!

Three Notch’d Brewing RVA Collab House will release yet another collaboration beeer on Thursday. ‘Fredd Finale is a Belgian Wit and brewed with local band The Fredds.
