RVA Magazine is excited to announce and give some sneak peeks into the making of our collaboration with Three Notch’d Brewing Company, No BS! Brass, and The Broadberry for the upcoming release of “NO BS CREAM ALE”.

Once Three Notch’d opened their RVA Collab House a few months ago with Stefan McFayden as their head brewer, we got in touch about doing a collab that would celebrate our amazing local music culture.

We immediately reached out to Lucas Fritz, co-owner of The Camel and The Broadberry, and began to talk about our perfect collaboration, and what would be a really good brew for local music lovers.

Through these talks we brought up one of the most popular bands from Richmond, NO BS! Brass. Lucas was happy to reach out to Reggie Pace and talk to him about some ideas for this brew. In the end it all came together for us to work with Three Notch’d to make NO BS! Cream Ale. This will be an extremely tasty cream ale that is smooth and easy to drink. We were really looking to make something that anyone can enjoy, and something we can have on tap at our local spots.

In the pictures below you can see McFayden working with RVA Magazine President John Reinhold, Fritz, and Matt McDonald and Erin Brennan from The Broadberry, and Pace from NO BS!.

McFayden had us putting in the mash and grain to start the brew process, and start the mixing so the transfer to the boil kettle can start today. Once the brew is complete we will have more information about plans for release and events around this brew.

Keep an eye out on RVA Mag for details on the release date of the brew. Cheers!
