What’s happening craft beer lovers of RVA?! Welcome to this week’s “Tapped,” RVA Magazine’s go to weekly craft beer column where you can find all your craft beer-related events, releases, festivals and all the booze news your little hearts desire.

Our cup is overflowing with news this week, but first head over here to check out what awesome brews were released in Richmond last weekend.

We’ve got new beer releases, special holiday and seasonal brews, special events and more so hold on to your mugs because we’re getting ready to tap this thing!

Hardywood is bringing back their vegan pop up food court tonight (Wednesday) with several food trucks and their Give Bock brew. Proceeds go to benefit Feed More.

The brewery is also gearng up for the return of the beloved, the highly sought ever, Gingerbread Stout. Quit your drooling so I can get through the details. The brewery is doing a pre-release bottle sale Friday, Nov. 4th from 7 to 9:30 pm. Hardywood opens at 4 pm so make sure you get there to early to snag a place in line!

The official Gingerbread Stout release will be Saturday, Nov. 5th so if you dont get a chance to get a bottle early, Saturday is the day! This makes a great holiday gift if for the beer lover if your life by the way!

Triple Crossing will release its Nectar and Knife brew on Saturday. It will be available in crowlers and on draft at 12 pm.

Isley is back with their weekly infusion on Friday, this time a Coffee Mild Ale, which is the brewery’s Ales Gone Mild infused with coffee.

The Scott’s Addition brewery has also teamed up with InLight Richmond to release 1708 ACDC, a Belgian White IPA just in time for the InLight Richmond event. Come and enlighten yourself from 4-6pm as the brewery hosts a special weekend happy hour for this beer only.

Lickinghole Creek has two cool releases for you this weekend. On Friday, the Goochland brewery will release Citra Fresh, a 6% IPA.

On Saturday, get ready for all your tastebuds to sing, because Lickignhole will release its Rum Barrel Carrot Cake,
an 11% imperial amber ale.

Strangeways Brewing will introduce a new flagship beer to their lineup SAturday. “Hop Howler” is a 6.8% IPA which includes a variety of hoppy flavors courtesy of Citra, El Dorado, Jarrylo and Pacific Gem.

Ardent Craft Ales will release their Dark Rye on Saturday, a 10.1% American Imperial Stout with a dry choclately finish.

On Sunday, Ardent will host Slow Fish 2016, a festival celebrating sustainable seafood with restaurant, brewery, and oyster booths, a shucking contest, live music and chef demos.

Center of the Universe’s Carytown Bathrobe Bar Crawl will return for the third time this Friday. It’s time to celebrate El Duderino and help raise funds for The Byrd Theatre & Foundation. Pull out that bathrobe grandma gave you last Christmas and strut your stuff all along Carytown. Included with your Big LeBYRDski ticket will be your business papers. This postcard sized passport will lead you all around Carytown to some of the greatest Byrd Theater supporting restaurants in the area. Each restaurant will have a unique sticker for you to collect. Fill up your passport and then redeem it at The Big LeBYRDski for a limited edition gift! Plus, supporting these restaurants before the movie just means more funds to keep up with the renovations of the Theater. Tickets are $10. All tickets include the screening of The Coen Brothers’ ” The Big Lebowski” nnd one El Duderino beer, COTU’s White Russian Milk Stout.

On Monday, Nov 28th Garden Grove welcomes for the first time Chef Kevin Church of Postbellum as their next partner in their ongoing taproom dinner series. Five courses of seasonal new american cuisine will be matched with five brews in the casual taproom setting for $38 (plus tax & tip). Space is limited and these events sell out every month, register early to secure your seats.
