So for all you pumpkin beer lovers out there, RVA Mag compiled a list of local breweries releasing pumpkin brews earlier this week. You can check that out here.

Here is a rundown of the breweries releasing pumpkin beers this weekend:

On Sept. 24, Strangeways Brewing will release their Rot in Hell Pumpkin Sour.

Strangeways also has a couple cool events going on this weekend. Tonight (Wednesday) is their Yappy Hour to benefit Richmond Animal Care and Control’s Foundation. Strangeways will be donating 10% OF ALL SALES during Yappy Hour to RACC’s foundation, RAWF.

Their 2nd Annual Heart Beat event kicks off on Saturday from 12 to 5 pm. There will be craft beers, live music from three local bands, food truck eats from The Return of the Mac!, prizes, and a cornhole tournament! All proceeds from the cornhole tournament AND $1 from each sale of the special Heart Beat Beer from Strangeways’ “Curioisities Series” will go to the American Heart Association.

On Friday, Isley Brewing will release their weekly infusion, this week its a Peach Pale Ale.

Steam Bell Beer Works will release two beers this Saturday. The first is Money Is Power, a 7% dry and crisp IPA that has been dry hopped with Lemon Drop hops, giving it notes of citrus + pine. The Chesterfield brewery will also release Power Corrupts, a 8.6% DIPA dry hopped with Mosaic and Nelson Sauvin hops.

Hardywood will release VIPA, a bright and juicy IPA that will be available year-round with Hardywood Singel and Pils on Saturday.

This Thursday, The Answer Brewpub will release releasing Fugitive Moments, a new IPA that day, which will be available on tap starting at noon.

Center of the Universe will release its Pepperhoptas. For you spicy fans out there, this one is for you! It contains Trinadad 7 Pot, Ghost and Carolina Reaper peppers which adds fruity and nutty tones that balance with the grapefruit citrus and floral aromas of Pocapotas with a slight burst of heat.

Garden Grove will host a beer dinner Monday with Chef Todd Johnson & Ellwood Thompsons!
Just a handful more seats have become available for this awesome edition of our monthly beer dinner series. For almost a year now, Garden Grove Brewing Company has been hosting 5 course dinners in the taproom featuring stars of Richmond’s vibrant culinary scene- and this one with former Chef/Owner of the Carytown restaurant gem “Mezzanine” will be one to remember.

Just $38 (plus tax & tip) for 5 courses with beer pairings- including a special pre-release “Natural Blonde Saison” made with all organic ingredients including hops grown at Tricycle Gardens Urban Farm in Manchester and organic fruit juices courtesy of Ellwood Thompson’s!
