Our cup is overflowing with news this week, but first head over here to check out what awesome brews were released in Richmond last weekend.

We’ve got another new brewery opening, new releases and some Father’s Day events so hold on to your mugs because we’re getting ready to tap this thing!

The most exciting news this week comes out of Petersburg. The highly-anticipated Trapezium Brewing Company will finally open its doors at 423 3rd St. on Saturday, June 18th at 12 pm. Read more about the brews (and pizza) the brewery wil be offering in our interview with them here.

In celebration of all the dads out there, Hardywood will host a < span=""> href=”https://www.facebook.com/events/1078147738911233/”>Keg N Oyster Roast Sunday, June 19th featuring oysters from the delicious Rappahannock River Oysters. Crab cakes, fried and raw oysters, and Hardywood’s Oyster Stout will be available.

Isley has a number of cool events going on this weekend including weekly infusion on Friday. This time, it’s a a Dry Hopped Mile Ale.

This Saturday, the brewery will release This Aint Kentucky-a bourbon barrel oatmeal porter. This brew was aged in bourbon barrels from Reservoir Distillery!

Dads also receive 10 percent off at Isley on Sunday so head there with your pops for a few brews and some food from Dank Eats!

On Saturday, Triple Crossing will release Green Dreams, A Double IPA and draft and in crowlers.

Newesrt brewery to open, Steam Bell Beer Works, in Chesterfield will release the remaining kegs from last weekend this weekend. Check out the lineup: Thursday: Barrel Maker Heritage & Barrel Maker Legacy. Friday: Liege, Patchronce. Saturday: Tiramisu Stout, Smoked Braggot, Deep Roots Wee Heavy.

Lickinghole Creek in Goochland will release a delicious looking brew on Saturday, the Bourbon Barrel Chocolate Obession. The brew is a whopping 13.5& imperial chocolate stout with hundreds of pounds of chocolate malts sourced from all over the world and South American grown cocoa nibs. Aged in Kentucky Bourbon Barrels for months.

Head out to Strangeways Brewing On Sunday for their Father’s Day All You Can Eat Shrimp Boil.

Yellow Umbrella Provisions will be serving up an All-You-Can-Eat shrimp boil chocked full of shrimp, potatoes, corn-on-the-cob, and sausage, complimented by chicken wings, and tasty sides. There will be live music, and of course, beer. Adult tickets will be $30. Starts at 11 am.
