Science on Tap is back for round two! Join us for a night of science, sounds and spirits as we reveal how grunge’s most iconic bands and sounds open the door to some seriously fun science. We’re planning a Black Hole Sun astronomy show, Pearl Jam oyster science, a Smells Like Teen Spirit sniffer challenge, a Soundgarden music lab, Smashing Pumpkin gourd launching and a Rock the Vote lecture sure to get you thinking. We’ll end the night with a live performance from Pilots and Pearls.
Belle Isle Moonshine will be back offering signature cocktails; Garden Grove Brewing Company and Urban Winery will be here offering a small batch, special Museum beer; and Growlers to Go will be out back with eight taps of beverage enjoyment. Go Go Vegan Go, Sammich and Happy Empanada will be serving good eats for your munching pleasure.
Come dressed in flannel shirts, ripped jeans and Doc Martens, or come as you are, as you were, as I want you to be.
$10 admission ($8.50 for Museum members); food and drink is extra. Guests must be 21 or older to attend. ID required for entry, no exceptions.
