With Ran doing all the rhymes and the production on the track, it’s a true one-man effort, driven by a funky bass-and-percussion loop and featuring a sample that I’m pretty sure is Richard Pryor yelling “Goddamn!”
Fan Ran of Divine Profitz has just released a new solo track, “Train Wreck,” and it is hot! With Ran doing all the rhymes and the production on the track, it’s a true one-man effort, driven by a funky bass-and-percussion loop and featuring a sample that I’m pretty sure is Richard Pryor yelling “Goddamn!” You might be yelling too when you hear this–and you’ll probably wanna dance as well. “Train Wreck” is our first glimpse of Ran’s upcoming album, The Never Was, which is a joint venture through Pyrex Palace, Main Street Mafia, and Gritty City Records, and will be out in a few months.
