Lockn’ Festival has become annual pilgrimage for fans of jam music here in the Commonwealth.

Lockn’ Festival has become annual pilgrimage for fans of jam music here in the Commonwealth. Thousands from around the country and locally head to Arrington’s Oak Ridge Farm and proceed to dance and party their asses off to some of the biggest names in the free-form industry and this year is no exception.

While the festival doesn’t happen till August 25-28, organizers have dropped the first list of performers and they are jam-tastic. So get your glow sticks and your… party supplies… together and check out the full list below:

Phish, My Morning Jacket and Ween have been tapped to headline Lockn ’16. Joe Russo’s Almost Dead, Charles Bradley, Brandi Carlile, Gary Clark Jr., Galactic, Keller’s Grateful Gospel, Keller’s Grateful Grass, Lettuce, Chris Robinson Brotherhood, Tedeschi Trucks Band, Turkuaz, Twiddle, Umphrey’s McGee, Vulfpeck and White Denim

Festival co-founder Peter Shapiro spoke with Rolling Stone and said they were particularly excited to have Phish leading the line up:

“this is going to be a big moment for their fans. To get to see Ween play before Phish is the kind of unique musical moment that we created Lockn’ for.”

Phish will (unsurprisingly) play four sets over two nights, with a number of chances for line-colabs and onstage surprises peppered through out.

GA & VIP tickets will go on sale Friday, February 19 at noon ET via the festival’s website.
