Usually when it’s someone’s birthday they get presents. But, for RVA hip hop artist Michael Milions, he’s delivered a gift to us by releasing his new album Beautiful, yesterday on his birthday.

The sound is authentic and real and really shows this man has been tirelessly working on his craft. It goes hard and is really heavy. And on top that, Millions has released a short-film entitled Beautiful to go along with the album.

The film shows him doing what he does best, flow, but this time on the luxurious beaches of Costa Rica where he recently vacationed. the film tells a captivating and visually stunning story of the development of the album through music videos. It was shot over the last year by G, who’ behind most of the rising hip hop musician’s work. It also delves into his personal life, his family and friends.

Nickelus F also makes a cameo appearance so be on the lookout for him!

Beautiful, is a follow up to Millions’ release Ghosts of $20 Bills which dropped last year.

The entire film is on his website here along with an interactive album display.

Catch Michael Millions perform December 11th at The Top for Flag On The Moon 2 at The Top in Shockoe Bottom.
