Lucy Dacus to play Lollapalooza

by | Mar 23, 2016 | MUSIC

This girl is everywhere.

This girl is everywhere. From playing a sold out show at The Broadberry, to being named one of the “10 Artists You Need to Know” in Rolling Stone, to playing a gig at SXSW all after just dropping her first album, RVA’s Lucy Dacus is rapidly rocketing her way to superstardom.

Adding to that list, the singer has earned herself a spot on the Lollapalooza lineup this year. The four-day music festival, which takes place in Chicago (as well as Germany, Columbia, Chile, Brazil, and Argentina) on July 28-31, announced its lineup this morning.

Headliners include Radiohead, Red Hot Chili Peppers, LCD Soundsystem, J.Cole, Lana Del Ray, and Future. Her name may be at the bottom, but she’s on there so RVA will be representing at a major festival!

Virginia hip hop artist D.R.A.M. is also scheduled to perform.

Check out the full lineup below;

Unfortunately, it looks as though four-day GA tickets and one day passes are already sold out. VIP and platinum passes are still available.
