Alt-pop group Positive No has released a track just in time for the holidays to fill our hearts and ears with cheer.

But make no mistake this song, called “Framed” is no “Jingle Bell Rock” or “White Christmas”, its a little dark and gloomy. But I like it.

Here are some of the lyrics:

“I counted bodies till I fell asleep
I dreamt of dead friends
and woke up feeling cheated.”

Maybe the new style for holiday songs? Either way, its still a pretty cool sounding tune.

Positive No also just made NPR Music’s Favorite Songs of 2015 list for their single “Pedal Through.”
