Richmond’s riverfront concert season is set to return next month, with more than a dozen shows already announced for the 2026 lineup at Allianz Amphitheater with more to come. The venue, which opened in 2025, is entering its second full season with a schedule that runs from mid-April through late September and spans rock, country, pop, R&B, electronic, and indie acts.
Concerts begin April 16 with Alabama Shakes and continue with a steady rollout of national touring acts throughout the spring and summer.
Spring Opening Run
The early schedule includes a mix of indie, Americana, and rock:
- April 16 Alabama Shakes with Joy Oladokun
- April 17 Flatland Cavalry
- April 22 Caamp
May brings larger touring acts and legacy names to the venue:
- May 21 Joe Russo’s Almost Dead
- May 25 Sting
- May 29 Young the Giant with Cold War Kids
Summer Headliners
The summer lineup continues with a mix of pop, classic rock, and touring festival acts:
- June 10 Khalid with Lauv
- June 17 Chicago
- July 7 Lindsey Stirling
- July 26 O.A.R. with Gavin DeGraw and Lisa Loeb
- July 30 DJ Tape B x Levity
August includes some of the season’s larger draws:
- August 1 The Black Keys
- August 9 5 Seconds of Summer
- August 19 Chris Stapleton
Fall Closeout
The season extends into September with a mix of pop, electronic, country, and indie acts:
- September 1 Goo Goo Dolls
- September 10 Empire of the Sun
- September 12 Billy Currington and Kip Moore
- September 29 Mt. Joy
Unlike its opening year, the 2026 schedule does not yet feature a single marquee, multi-night event on the scale of last year’s Dave Matthews Band shows.
Instead, the venue is leaning into a more consistent calendar, with regular programming spread across six months. With a capacity of around 7,500 and a location along the James River, the amphitheater continues to position itself as a central piece of Richmond’s live music infrastructure heading into the summer.
More shows are expected to be announced in the coming months as the 2026 season fills out.
