Shonen Knife @ Plaza Bowl | RVATV

by | Oct 21, 2015 | MUSIC

Shonen Knife followed up performances by Hex Machine and Hot Lava last Friday at Plaza Bowl. Hot Lava was also there to celebrate their 7” release. Shonen Knife, an energetic, all-female trio that has jammed for nearly thirty years, first conquering Japanese hearts in the early ’80s. The pop-punk group performed at Richmond for their first time ever, emphasizing songs from their 2008 (Japan)/2009 (US/UK) album, “Super Group.” Not convinced? Watch the interview for a series of Q&A on a smattering of topics from fried drums to tiny Asian feet, along with footage from the show.
