I’m sure all you fans of the modern bluegrass revival are still feeling the buzz from the Old Crow Medicine Show gig at Maymont on Sunday, but don’t let the party end just yet, because Yonder Mountain String Band is coming to Charlottesville at the end of the month, and you could see them for free! Yonder Mountain String Band hail from Colorado and have been bringing their high-energy brand of old-time music to the world for over 15 years now. It’s been a few years since their last album, The Show, was released, but they haven’t been resting on their laurels, instead getting out there on tour, hitting the festivals, and making new fans everywhere they go.
