Wu Tang Clan’s Inspectah Deck is coming to the Broadberry this Friday and we think thats kind of a big deal.

Sure, you’ve got Iron Reagan’s record release party as our show of the week, but for those fans with a preference for hip hop, there is this alternative.

Admittedly a lesser known member of Wu Tang, Deck was featured prominently on a number of their larger tracks including “C.R.E.A.M.” and “Protect Ya Neck.”

But beyond his contributions to mainstream singles, Deck gets a shout out at the end of “Can It Be All So Simple,” when Method Man honors each member, saying he’s “starting at the top:”

Inspectah Deck, he’s like that dude that’ll sit back and watch you play yourself and all that right? And see you sit there and know you lyin; and he’ll take you to court after that, cuz he the Inspectah.

There’s also this pretty hilarious video produced for Friday’s show. Kudos for them spending the time and money getting it together:

The show also features local favorites Black Liquid and Noah O. It should be a good time!

You can snag tickets for the show at the Broadberry’s website.
