Yes I’m Changing: Weekend Playlist by Manatree

by | Feb 1, 2019 | MUSIC

Every Friday night, RVA Mag drops a ridiculously amazing playlist curated by influential artists, musicians, and institutions.

This time around we’ve got a playlist from Manatree, the youthful Richmond quartet whose intricate melodies and complex latticework of guitar leads, synth burbles, syncopated percussion, and gorgeous vocals is both incredibly complicated and undeniably beautiful. They’ll be at Hardywood on Saturday night for a free show to celebrate the release of their latest EP, but first, check out this excellent playlist the band has put together, full of psychedelic grooves and pop bounce, featuring quite a few local stars who may still be flying under your radar.

Dig in, Richmond.
