Introducing RVA’s Fashion Photographers: Nick Ghobashi

by | Jun 28, 2013 | PHOTOGRAPHY

Nick Ghobashi is a talented young photographer making waves in the local scene. Getting his start working with film at a time when most photographers had already switched to digital, Ghobashi found a unique approach that he initially applied to photos of his first love, skateboarding. Eventually realizing that the skills he’d developed while shooting skaters would translate well in the fashion world, he began doing commercial and editorial work for local artists, designers, businesses, and publications. Over the past few years, he’s won awards from Fotoweek DC and built up an impressive portfolio, and now this recent VCU graduate is ready to take things to the next level.
