NC’s Hopscotch Festival in Photos

I spent a good chunk of my time in Raleigh, NC last week photographing and playing the Hopscotch Music Fest. My only regret was that I missed out on Richmond’s Fall Line Fest. There is always next year right? What I really love about Hopscotch is the community aspect. You are just as likely to sit next to Thurston Moore at the bar as you are a twenty-something college radio DJ. The point is everyone is a music fan and everyone is trading stories and tips on who to go see. Not to mention these days everyone has a camera, or at least a smart phone, and is capturing everything in sight. When Tony asked if I would submit some photos for the site I thought in the spirit of the fest it would be fun to curate a gallery of photos from a few of my friends. I hope you’ll check out each person’s unique coverage by clicking their respective links. Enjoy!
