Broad City stars and Lady Parts Justice announce award show for ‘sexism and anti-choice extremism’

Abbi Jacobson and Ilana Glazer, stars of Comedy Central’s Broad City, along with a mess of other female comedians are looking to honor some of the worst, anti-choice politicians and public figures this year.

Abbi Jacobson and Ilana Glazer, stars of Comedy Central’s Broad City, along with a mess of other female comedians are looking to honor some of the worst, anti-choice politicians and public figures this year.

Coordinated by the pro-choice group Lady Parts Justice, the group has been using humor to reach folks about the continue assault agianst a women’s right to chose which often coincides with impacting low-cost healthcare in high-need areas.

the 2016 Golden Probe Awards will feature the Broad City stars as well as Sarah Silverman, Samantha Bee, Jessica Williams, Broad City’s Abbi Jacobson and Ilana Glazer, Matt McGorry, Wendy Davis, Lea Delaria, Sasheer Zamata, Phoebe Robinson, Lizz Winstead, and hosted by legendary hip hop artist and comedian Jean Grae.

Check out Jacobson and Glazer as they announce the categories for the award show which is set to broadcast October 2 at 8pm ET at (le) Poisson Rouge in New York, and streamed live at www.goldenprobes.com.
