NUMBERNIN6: He has made himself famous by making the most epic dubstep remix of The Prodigy’s Breathe ever. Rippin and rollin’ out of just inside the east coast, Numbernin6 has begun to release a catalog of sounds that reminisces his old trance days and lays in a fat, destructive dubstep flow. Using lower frequencies than other dubstep artists [and making it so it sounds good] seems to be the kids talent. Avid remixer and medical student Numbernin6 could be the next big piece of the dubstep movement or the next guy taking out your kidneys.

NumberNin6 Bio: Richmond, VA // Migration, subHUMAN, Sour Grapes, Z-Audio

At the start of the new decade, trance-turned-dubstep producer Nishant Parikh aka NumberNin6 is patiently waiting.
With his remix of Prodigy’s “Breathe,” NumberNin6 has firmly placed himself on the map in the dubstep universe. His sound quickly garnered the support of dubstep giants like Skream, Rusko, N-Type, Plastician, Reso, Nero, Bassnectar, Bar9, and BBC Radio1 DJs Mistjam and Annie Mac. With his extensive background in trance production, NumberNin6’s approach to dub is one with a different angle than most of his fellow producers. Meticulously lacing screaming distorted basslines with haunting melodies and lush, layered soundscapes, Nin6 manages to blend together a seemingly dichotomous array of sounds: melodious yet menacing; mellow yet aggressive. Armed with some of the most exclusive dubs from the world’s top producers and his own unique sound, east coast based NumberNin6 is ready to wreck havoc from shore to shore.

NumberNin6 now silently waits within the eye of the storm that he has created for himself. On the brink of 4 EPs (including the debut release on Dieselboy’s new subHUMAN label), multiple collaborations and remixes, NumberNin6 now eagerly awaits the aftermath. And he’s a full-time medical student!
